LIST -al

I need to get a list from an FTP server of about 4800 files with full TimeDate stamps to compare against a local directory to perform a sync.

Using the
.ListDirectoryDetail("/", true) method is too slow due to the number of files.  I have beel logging how other FTP programs do this and they are sending a LIST method with "-al" parameter.

I have tried  reqFTP.Method = "LIST -al"; and reqFTP.Method = "LIST%20-al"; but I am recieving an "This method is not supported." error.  Does anyone know how to send parameters with a Method?

Thanks

Mike
